Franks Motorcycles Franks Motorcycles was founded by Jon Stevens in memory of his father, Frank, born in 1934 and passing in 1998.

Jon created the dealership to keep his father’s name alive, inspired by Frank’s charitable spirit and love for classic motorcycles.

Big engines. Big sounds. Plenty to talk about.

From V8 cars and straight sixes to big twins and large capacity motorcycles, Big Engines Day is a relaxed morning celebrating cars, motorcycles and the engineering that makes them special.

Bring something interesting, or simply come along for breakfast, coffee and a look around.

There are no tickets, no judging and no club membership required. The theme is simply a reason to park up and spend the morning with people who share your enthusiasm.

THE DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN’S DRIVE RETURNS TO COLCHESTER

On Sunday 27th September, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive returns to Colchester, bringing together a wonderful collection of classic cars to support prostate cancer and men’s mental health programmes through Movember.

The cars are expected to drive along Colchester High Street at approximately 11.30am. Please come out, give the drivers a wave and show your support for this incredibly important cause.

This is no ordinary classic car drive. Participating vehicles must be at least 40 years old, so expect to see a fantastic collection of vintage and classic machinery.

Drivers and passengers will also be embracing the spirit of the event by dressing dapper. Expect classic suits, tweed, ties, waistcoats, hats, vintage dresses and plenty of elegant period inspired style.
