The cake was chocolate fudge cake filled with Dairy Milk Chocolate ganache & finished in Belgian white chocolate buttercream.
This was paired with individually wrapped fondant topped shortbread biscuits given as favours for the Baby Shower guests.

Inspiration Vs Reality!
When a customer orders a cake I do often find it useful if they send some inspiration pictures or ideas of what they would like. I always explain that I will never directly copy another bakers’ work and that I like the creativity involved in doing my own interpretation of the design. Inspiration pics/AI images should just be a starting point.

When it comes to cake trends there will always be similarities in style, colours and designs but I do think it’s a good thing to put your own slant on it too! Customers often say to me “I trust you, just do whatever you think will look best” and I am so grateful for that 🤍

Perfect theme for a summer birthday! 🌼

This was a 5” Raspberry & White Chocolate flavour cake for a first birthday celebration which was decorated with handmade fondant giant daisies & coloured cake balls to match the party balloons.
