✨ A little more work happening at The Marquis! ✨

With the carpets and flooring now down, we’ve been giving the pub a few more little touches ready for the colder months.

Our cosy lounge area is coming together beautifully, with some lovely big tables now in place in front of the fire 🔥 — perfect for settling in with a drink, a bite to eat and good company.

We’re getting everything ready for cosy season at the Marquis 🍂🍻

Come and see the changes for yourself! ❤️

🥂❤️ A huge congratulations to Ellen & Aaron! ❤️🥂

We’ve had the pleasure of hosting a few weddings at The Marquis this year, and we absolutely love being part of such special occasions!

Ellen & Aaron opted for a lovely, intimate wedding with a 3-course sit-down meal, creating the perfect setting for celebrating with their closest family and friends. 🥂

The room decor was provided and beautifully set up by the Marquis team, ready for the happy couple and their guests to enjoy their special day.

Thank you for choosing The Marquis to be part of such a memorable occasion — wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together! ❤️

Congratulations, Ellen & Aaron! 🥂💍

👨‍🍳 WE’RE HIRING – FULL-TIME CHEF

As we continue to grow busier — something we are incredibly grateful for! — we’re looking to add another full-time chef to our kitchen team.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and hardworking
• Passionate about cooking
• Experienced in cooking from scratch
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
• A team player with a good attitude

You don’t need to know everything — as long as you have the basics and a genuine passion for cooking, we can teach you the rest. ❤️

We’re a proper village pub kitchen, cooking good, honest food from scratch, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in what they put on the plate.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

📩 Please send your CV or message us for more information.

🇮🇹 A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us for our first themed night! 🤌❤️

Our Italian Night went down a treat, and we absolutely loved seeing the pub so busy with everyone enjoying themselves! 🍝🍕🍷

We’d also like to gently reiterate the importance of booking a table, especially for weekends and our themed nights.

Bookings really help us plan ahead and staff accordingly, so we can make sure we have enough people working to give everyone the service we pride ourselves on. ❤️

Thank you as always for supporting our little village pub — we really do appreciate every single one of you! 🥰

Keep your eyes peeled for our next themed night! 🇮🇳
