They say The Belper Arms has been around since 1290… and with over 730 years of history, it’s certainly collected a few ghost stories along the way! 🕸️💀

Some of you will already know about our resident ghost, Five-to-Four Fred, who’s been causing mischief for decades… but this Halloween, Fred might have some competition! 👀👻

We’re opening our doors to a whole new generation of little ghosts, witches, vampires and monsters for our KIDS’ HALLOWEEN PARTY! 🎃🧙‍♀️

Saturday 31st October 4pm – 6:30pm

🕷️ Spooky games and plenty of fun!
🪩 A Halloween disco to dance your little socks off!
🌭 COMPLIMENTARY HOT DOGS!
👻 Lots of spooky surprises and Halloween giggles!

We’re proud to be a pub with centuries of stories behind us, but what matters most is making new memories with our wonderful community. 🥰

There’s something pretty special about enjoying a pint in a pub with over 730 years of history behind it! 🍺🏡

The Belper Arms has seen more than seven centuries of stories, characters, conversations and, we’d imagine, quite a few pints along the way! 😂

If you love a bit of history, you’ll love being here. There aren’t many places where you can sit down for a drink and think about everything that’s happened around these walls over the last 730+ years.

Although one thing we can guarantee… we definitely didn’t have a defib on the wall all those years ago! 😂💚

Here’s to keeping a little piece of history alive. 🍻

👻 Spooky Stories of 3:55 Fred… 👻

Now we’re officially in October, it’s time to bring back the spooky stories of our resident ghost, 3:55 Fred! 🎃

We’d love to know… have you ever felt his presence, heard something you couldn’t explain, or had a spooky encounter of your own? 👀

We found this absolute corker from The Belper Arms, dated 18.07.1972… and it certainly adds to the mystery surrounding Fred. 😱

What an achievement! Well done!

I can’t believe it’s 2 weeks since the dog show 🐶! I’ve been busy with the aftermath but i would like to say the charity dog show and raffle raised £558 in total!! 🤩🤩 This will be split equally between all three charities which are Canine Partners Stroke Association and Macmillan Cancer Support, each will receive £186!! 🤩

I will also be sharing the photo album soon for Lauren Chloe so please keep your eyes peeled 👀!! 🤩
