BOAR ON TOUR: LUDLOW. Saturday 28 November

We're off on the coach again! This time it's Ludlow in the run-up to Christmas: the brewery, the Christmas market and Rich's top pubs (others are available too).

Breakfast at The Rock from 9am. The coach leaves at 10 and picks up at The Blue Boar at 10.30. It's only two hours to Ludlow, so we'll have you there about twelve, and then the day's yours: Ludlow Brewing Co's tap in the old railway shed, a wander round the Christmas stalls, and a proper crawl of some cracking old pubs. The coach picks up at half seven and has you home for about 10.

TOMORROW. Last few seats.

Boar on Tour rolls out in the morning and there are a handful of seats going spare. If you fancy it, now's the time.

Meet at The Rock from 8am for breakfast, coach pulls out 9am sharp and picks up at The Blue Boar at 9.30.

Then it's sixteen brewery taprooms under the railway arches in Bermondsey, Druid Street through to Spa Road, with the street food at Maltby Street Market halfway round. Seven hours to do it at your own pace, and not one of us has to drive.

Back at the Boar about 10 and The Rock for half ten.

£30 a seat, return. Pay at the bar tonight or in the morning before we set off — cash or card.

🇪🇸 One last fling.

It's been a beautiful summer — paella in the pan, sangría in the sun, plates passed round the table. But all good holiday romances come to an end.

This Thursday is our final Spanish Tapas Night. From 5pm, food served until 8pm, sangría topped with La Tapa at £9. Come and give it the send-off it deserves.

Next Saturday! A great day out for just £30

There's still some space on our next trip!

Saturday 19th September for just £30 we will pick you up from The Blue Boar or The Rock, take you to a fantastic part of that there London, with nearly 20 brewery taps and a street food market, and even bring you back that evening.

Just a few highlights from the Half Pint Half Marathon on Saturday.

A massive shout out to the 47 who completed the walk and to everyone who's shown their support logistically, spiritually, and financially!

This year we were walking for Nick and all the money raised is going to LOROS Hospice. We've smashed our target and we are still collecting in sponsor money, so the final figure will be announced in a couple of weeks (I'm sure there'll be a party too).

Tomorrow, a few of us are walking 14 miles from The Rock in Whitwick to The Blue Boar in Leicester, with a half pint in every pub along the way.

It's the third year we've done it, and this year it's for LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice, in memory of Nick.
