Last night we had fine weather for our Bat Walk along the canal in Coedgwilym. Mark gave a presentation on bats and their habits before we went out onto the towpath at dusk. The pipistrelles were very active and could be clearly seen flying above the trees. Daubentons were also "seen", using our bat detectors, skimming along the water surface.

Coming soon to Clydach Community Gardens!

At The Chelsea Flower Show 2026, The Bat Conservation Trust’s Nocturnal Garden won a Silver Award.

Following the show, the garden is being relocated to Clydach Community Gardens later this year.
