Take an old painting… and give it a completely new story. 👀🖼️

On Tuesday 22nd September, Laura’s Imagination Station joins us at Edisford Bridge for a wonderfully creative — and slightly bonkers — evening of Altered Art.

You’ll take a pre-loved painting or print and transform it into something totally unique. Add characters, animals, flowers, dramatic skies, quirky details… or change the whole story entirely. 🎨

Absolutely no artistic experience needed — Laura will be there to help with ideas, colour mixing and simple painting techniques along the way.

Our specials are on alongside the main menu today, including slow-cooked lamb shoulder with charred tenderstem, garlic mash, rosemary lamb jus and crispy onions.

And, of course, it’s Fish Friday — enjoy two fish & chips plus a bottle of house w**e for £39.50, available all day.

We gave SpeedQuiz a try last week, but after listening to our regulars, we’ve decided the pen and paper is staying.

There’s something about a proper pub quiz, a table full of friends, a few drinks and scribbling down your answers that just feels right — and it suits the relaxed country pub atmosphere at Edisford perfectly.

Join us for a frightfully good night this Halloween, with fancy dress, music, games and a few spooky surprises along the way.
Dress to impress… or terrify! There’ll be a prize for the best dressed, so don’t hold back. 🕸️

From 8.30pm until midnight, our DJ will be taking over with plenty of music, dancing and karaoke, alongside bar games and Halloween treats throughout the evening.

Join local historian and storyteller Simon Entwistle for an atmospheric evening uncovering the ghostly tales, legends and darker history of Edisford Bridge.

Sunday 25th October
7.00pm arrival for 7.30pm seating

The evening includes two sessions of ghost stories, with a pie & peas supper served in between.

A very special goodbye to our lovely Hollie 🤍

Hollie is heading off to Leeds University to begin the next chapter and pursue her dream of becoming a nurse.

She’s been such a valued part of the Edisford Bridge team and we’re all incredibly proud of her. We’ll miss having her around, but we know she’s going to do brilliantly.

Wishing you all the very best at university, Hollie — enjoy every minute of it. And thankfully, it’s not goodbye for too long… she’ll be back with us at Christmas 🎄
