Happy New Year. 🥳
This is a hard post to write but after 13 and a half years we have decided to sell Bar Chocolat. Jen and I would like to thank all our customers and staff during this time. We have loved our pink chocolate haven in the village, but now it’s time for us to move on to the next chapter in our lives. Our last trading day will be Friday 31st January.
We have sold to another fantastic local business and we know you will love them and they will be a fantastic addition to Clifton.
Bar Chocolat has been in the village since 2000. The shop front has been a variety of colours from purple, brown, blue and us finally settling on PINK! Although many things have changed, the way we make the hot chocolates never has. We simply melt chocolate buttons into steamed milk. We will be selling our yummy hot chocolates until the last day, and have bags of our buttons for you to take home to recreate the magic.
We have made so many memories at this shop, we have survived covid and had 3 kids between us. Our children are very sad that we will no longer be selling chocolate and ice-cream.
Meanwhile our sale has started with what Christmas stock we have left. Come and grab a delicious bargin.
Thanks again for your continued support, we will miss the village, our fellow traders and especially our customers. Hopefully see you over the next month. Xx
