🎸 Fancy a little live music and pizza with your coffee? On Sunday 6th September, Mike Besseling brings his unique sound to Fawn Coffee as part of amplify! festival ☕🎶🍕

As a solo artist, Mike combines vocals and guitar with a foot drum and simple loop pedal to create a bigger, band-like sound, bringing together jazz, rock and blues in his own distinctive style. 🎵

We love that Fawn like to do things a little differently, and for amplify! that means live music, later opening, a pizza pop up and a temporary licence! 🎉 As the team explain, “we don’t really do the pub” and wanted to create somewhere you can enjoy that same kind of catch-up, “but over coffee.” ☕️

For amplify!, that means a relaxed daytime session with coffee, iced drinks and the added bonuses of Wren's Pizza in Fawn’s Yard and a selection of Wild West ciders from festival sponsor Wild West Cider available if you do fancy an alcoholic beverage. Perfect late lunch in the sun if you’ve been enjoying the amplify! musical trail or The Clevedon Sunday Market 🍕☕🎶

Fawn looks straight out over Alexandra Gardens, and the team have often found themselves thinking how lovely it would be to have live music of their own. So it made perfect sense for them to get involved with amplify! Details for your diary:

We’re nothing without our people! Team is everything at Fawn. 👯‍♂️

There’s two things that will always be at the very heart of what we do, and that is our people and our product. We want to serve the very best products, and that only happens when we champion amazing people who genuinely care. We were super lucky to be able to host our brilliant team in the yard for a BBQ a few weeks back, and celebrate all their successes with some fun and games.

It’s with great sadness, but immense pride, that we say goodbye to a member of our team for the very first time! We’ve grown a lot over the last year or so, and with it has come characters that have shaped the Fawn that we all know. Matt, pictured second in his snazzy sunnies, is off to use that well earned PHD to go on and do great things further afield. We can’t thank you enough for what you’ve given us, for what you’ve learned whilst with us, and for the care you’ve shown in making every cup its best. All our best, and don’t be a stranger!

The story goes on.

We have a SUPER SUNDAY lined up and you are not going to want to miss this!!

The combo you never knew you needed but just can’t do without…. following the next edition of The Clevedon Sunday Market on September 6th we are hosting LIVE MUSIC with a brew, as part of Clevedon Live Music Amplify festival!

From 2:30pm you can catch Mike Bess playing live at Fawn. Keep the market vibes going with our very own festival. Better still you’ll find Wren's Pizza in our courtyard slinging their town and possibly world famous pizzas from their new mobile unit, 2:30-4:30, so grab a late lunch, or post market munch. We’ll even have some cans of Wild West Cider to really set the mood for a sunny Sunday haze. It’s going to be a big weekend with loads of great music across lots of fab indie venues in Clevedon. get it whilst it’s HOT 🧀 🥐!

A small run of a newbie on the bar today… the croque monsieur croissant!! Heated to order, this is not just your regular cheese and ham croissant… it uses our home baked uber buttery beurre d’Isigny crossant, the best ham off the bone, and is slathered with aged cheddar and emmental béchamel inside and on top! We have limited stock whilst we trial it out, available right now 🤤

Another beautiful, busy, sunny day at Fawn! Just about managing to keep the yard in bloom but we might be getting crispy in a couple of days. Don’t forget it is shaded until around 11am so ideal first thing for a cool coffee outside 🐝 but turns to fire by the afternoon 🔥 we keep inside a cool 20°C in the AC (the perfect comfortable inside temperature, you don’t need a jumper! 🧊) so we’re here for you all day.

Back in two places tomorrow with Shop and Kiosk open for two chances to grab an iced brew! ☕️ 🥶

Serve your way to a great weekend for the Wimbledon final! Grab a brew on your way to watch. 🎾 We have a few of these fantastic Ace range glass reusables which use recovered tennis balls and recycled cork for a sustainable choice. Ideal for court side coffee. A serve Andy Murray would be proud of!

The same applies tomorrow, Thursday 25th June. Open at the shop, but closed at the kiosk.

The shop has AC, and we’ve got lots of iced drinks and even an affogato to cool you off.

We hope to be back open at our Kiosk on Sunday, but keep an eye out for updates. Thanks for understanding.

We do all we can to safeguard our customers and staff, and will only close in extreme circumstances. We’re confident that we can operate a safe and comfortable workspace at our 🟢 SHOP on Alexandra Rd 🟢 with only minor adaptions to shifts and menu. We’re well equipped with all weather facilities, and experience in reactive planning. We do however ask that you please keep yourself safe with water, and DO NOT come out with your dog this week. We thank you, and so will they! 🐶

We are unable to make the same guarantee at our outdoor kiosk. This, along with the National Trust estate, will remain CLOSED tomorrow due to the red 🔴 warning‼️ we will update this daily as things develop.
