It has reached this author’s ears, by way of the most intriguing whispers, that the Wanderer shall be making a grand return to the pub today.
Regrettably, the kitchen doors shall remain firmly closed for the entirety of the day.
As the heat continues to test even the most composed among us, do take care, remain safe, and look after one another.

Happy Hour shall commence at 3:00 p.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m., while the kitchen returns to service from 5:00 p.m.
In weather such as this, no respectable guest should be expected to labour over a hot stove. Do join us for a refreshing drink and a light evening bite, and allow us to take care of the rest.

Dearest gentle readers,
It has come to this author’s attention that the kitchen doors are open for luncheon until half past two.
Thereafter, from three o’clock until seven, a most agreeable Happy Hour shall commence 🎉
Those seeking refreshment may now indulge in iced coffee, or perhaps a homemade strawberry or banana milkshake, each decadently prepared with ice cream 🍨
As evening falls, the kitchen shall reopen at six o’clock and continue serving until eleven, ensuring no guest need go hungry while the game is underway.
Temptations include basket meals, fresh salads, and a selection of delights from the specials board.
One can only wonder who shall be seen making an appearance.
Do take care in the heat, drink plenty of fluids, and remember: society notices everything.

What another glorious day!
We’re open for drinks, and lunch is being served until 2:30pm.
Today’s specials are:
🥗 Chicken Caesar salad
🍤 Prawn salad
🍝 Pesto pasta with roasted tomatoes, served with your choice of chicken or ham
Please remember to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water. Look out for your neighbours too.
