ANOTHER STATEMENT FROM FIGS !

Just to clear up a rumour that’s been circulating on We Love Cleethorpes — although, judging by some of the comments you see on this page regarding Cleethorpes…we’re not entirely sure everybody does! But hey-ho… 😂

So, for what feels like the hundredth time…

FIGS IS NOT CLOSING DOWN!

We are very much OPEN, alive and kicking, doing what we do best — serving good food, giving great service and welcoming our lovely customers through the door. ❤️

If there ever comes a time when we decide to call it a day, you’ll hear it from us first — not via the Cleethorpes rumour mill! 😂

Until then… we’re here, we’re open, and we’ve got plenty more coming, including our fabulous new Christmas Afternoon Tea, launching very soon. 🎄🥂

And that’s not all… 👀
We’ve got another little something launching very, very soon too — FISH TACOS, FRIES & FIZZ! 🌮🍟🥂

Wow… our new menus are going down a storm! 🤩

The feedback over the last couple of weeks has been absolutely incredible, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Seeing so many of you enjoying the new dishes means the world to us.

We believe good food speaks for itself, but it only works if it’s served with consistency, care and a genuine passion for looking after our customers. That’s what we strive to do every single day.

So, if you’re wondering where to eat, fancy trying somewhere a little different, or simply want great food served by a team who genuinely love what they do… Figs is the place for you.

🎉 We’re going to blow our own trumpet… just this once! 🎉

Those of you who know us will know that we very rarely shout about ourselves.

Over the years we’ve had our fair share thrown at us… roads closed, pavements dug up, diversions, endless cones, and now a major regeneration project right on our doorstep. Through it all, we’ve just got on with what we do – looking after our customers and maintaining our standards.

Today, though, we’re giving ourselves (and our amazing team) a well-deserved pat on the back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not just five stars… a Very Good five-star Food Hygiene rating.

The inspector was particularly complimentary about our allergen matrix too, which, if you’re in the trade, you’ll know is no small thing!

What makes this so rewarding is that this isn’t a brand-new restaurant on day one when everything is shiny and new. This is about consistently maintaining those standards, year after year, whatever’s going on outside our front door.

So today, we’re making an exception and celebrating. We’re incredibly proud of our team and proud that, after all these years, we’re still doing what we’ve always set out to do… quietly, consistently, and to the best of our ability.

Sometimes it’s okay to stop and simply say… well done to us.

After a fantastic soft launch, our new menus are now here and will be taking us right through to the end of September.

We’ve brought a little bit of Cornwall back with us, and this summer we’re embracing a more relaxed, coastal feel. Great food, friendly faces, and a place where you can slow down, unwind and enjoy yourself.

Whether you’re joining us for a leisurely lunch, an evening meal, simply fancy a chilled glass of wine, a refreshing drink, a coffee and cake, or a few delicious nibbles, we’d love to welcome you.

No booking? No problem! If we have a table available, just pop in and we’ll do our very best to look after you.

🦐 Our Diggers & Dippers seafood platter has become a firm favourite. Enjoy fresh seafood, a chilled drink and complimentary views of the famous Pier Gardens diggers opposite… dinner and a show, courtesy of someone else! 😉🚜
