✨ Free Christmas Eve Curry at Cafe Baraka ✨

It’s that time of year again, and we’re opening our doors on Christmas Eve for anyone who could use a warm meal, a friendly face, or just a place to feel welcome. ❤️

We know the holidays can be a tough time — for some it’s loneliness, for others it’s financial worries, or just the weight of the year catching up. So, we’re inviting anyone who needs it to pop in, say hi, and grab a free homemade curry on us.

There’ll be hot meals ready to enjoy, and we’ll also have some extra food bits to take home for those who are struggling a little this season. No judgement, no questions — just kindness, good food, and community.💛

Whether you’re on your own, having a hard time, or simply want to be around some friendly faces for a bit, you’re so welcome.

⭐️Christmas Eve meal ⭐️
This Christmas, we want to celebrate our amazing community with a special gift from us to you. On 24th December, we’re offering a delicious free meal curried chicken or vegetable curry with rice.

Whether you’re looking for great food, good company, or just need a little extra cheer during a tough time, our doors are open to everyone. It’s our way of saying thank you for the love and support this year, and giving back to those who need it most.

Come as you are, and let’s enjoy the season together!

🙏 Thank you to everyone who generously contributed to our community Christmas Eve free meal at Cafe Baraka! Your support made it possible not only to provide a delicious meal but also to assemble gift bags filled with essentials like socks, toiletries, and treats. Your kindness has touched the hearts of many, creating a brighter holiday season for those in need. Together, we've made a meaningful impact, spreading joy and warmth.

(We still have a couple of gift bags left and we'll make sure they get given out to those who need them over the next few days.)

Special thanks to Marc and Elaine from Scaffolding Supplies Ltd, Jeff, Oliver Margarson, Howlin' Jacks Record Store, Cleethorpes and Tony ( from Manchester) for their generous contributions, enabling us to extend our reach and make a greater difference in our community.

And a heartfelt thank you to all those who joined us to share a meal on Christmas Eve. Your presence added warmth to our celebration, and we deeply appreciate the joy you brought to our community gathering.
