💙 IAN’S WAINWRIGHT CHALLENGE CHARITY NIGHT 💙

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you all to The Wheatsheaf on Saturday 7th November for a very special charity night supporting Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Over the past year, Ian (our uncle) has taken on an incredible challenge, walking all 214 Wainwright fells across 36 walks, raising money along the way for a charity very close to his heart. 🥾⛰️

Now it’s time to celebrate completing the challenge… the Wheatsheaf way! 🥂

From 6pm, we’ll have live music, a fantastic raffle, competitions, football cards, food and drinks, including our special Wainwright Blue cocktail. 💙

We’ll also have pie, peas & chilli available to buy, with proceeds going towards Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends and family and help us make it a brilliant night for a brilliant cause!

Today’s roasts are rump cap of beef, slow-cooked belly pork, chicken or nut roast, alongside a limited selection from our main menu, so there’s something for everyone around the table.

Our new Autumn/Winter menu is nearly here, launching this Friday 25th September! 🤎

We’ve been busy putting together our final menu and have added lots of new dishes, alongside a few Wheatsheaf favourites that we just couldn’t leave behind.

A big thank you to everyone who commented on our post a few weeks ago with your suggestions, we’ve loved reading them and have taken lots of your ideas on board when putting this menu together✨

As we all know, this one is a little bit special as it will be our final ever menu at The Wheatsheaf 🥲 So we’re really hoping you love it and enjoy plenty of lovely meals with us over the coming months.

From cosy lunches to hearty autumn dinners and a few sweet treats to finish… we think there’s a little something for everyone. 🤎
