Thank you…

A huge thank you to everyone who visited and supported The Gather tent at The Ennerdale Show yesterday! ❤️

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, and we thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a fantastic community event.

A special thank you to our brilliant volunteers who helped us put up and dismantle the tent, we really couldn’t have done it without you! We’re also incredibly grateful to Lamplugh Sports Committee for kindly lending us the tent.

Thank you, too, to all the show organisers and volunteers for the huge amount of work that goes into creating such an enjoyable and memorable day for our community. 👏

We especially loved seeing the craft section celebrating 10 years of The Gather! 🎉 It was wonderful to see the creativity and care that had gone into every entry, and the winning floral design was absolutely stunning. 🌸

Thank you once again to everyone who helped make the day so special, we loved being part of it! 💚

🎪 We’re off to the Show! 🍦🌿

We’ll be at Ennerdale Show this Wednesday the 26th of August so make sure you come and say hello! 👋

We’ll have a lovely selection of locally made crafts and gifts, plus plenty of ice creams to keep you cool while you enjoy the show. 🍦☀️

It’s always a brilliant day, we’re really looking forward to being part of it. 🐑🚜🌾

🇮🇹 Fancy learning Italian from scratch?

I’m looking at starting a complete beginners’ Italian class at 5pm on Tuesdays at The Gather, Ennerdale, from September.

A few people are already interested, so I’m putting the feelers out to see whether we have enough for a lovely little group. No previous Italian needed, just an interest in learning!

Classes are friendly, practical and relaxed. We use the whiteboard, I share photos of our notes afterwards and there’s homework available between classes if you’d like the extra practice.

Tuesday classes at The Gather
🇮🇹 5pm – Complete beginners’ Italian (new class, subject to interest)
🇪🇸 6pm – Beginners’ Spanish, with rolling joiners welcome
🇫🇷 7pm – Intermediate French, new students welcome

£75 for five one-hour classes, with no need to use all five in consecutive weeks.

We’ve just had a fresh delivery of delicious local Ennerdale honey at The Gather, but supplies are limited, so don’t hang about if you’d like a jar! 💛

We also have locally made beeswax furniture polish, perfect for naturally nourishing and protecting wooden furniture. 🐝✨

Two lovely local products, made with bees from right here in the Ennerdale Valley. 🌿
