It’s been a day for the memory books, the iconic tree out the front of the pub has been Stump’d! It was a necessary safety procedure due to the tree unfortunately being dead!

However we have some wonderful plans to grow some new plants in and around the old Stump, if you have any suggestions feel free to drop them in the comments.

In the meantime, here’s some shots over the years of the tree looking brilliant. We are also looking at placing a new pub sign up on the old fittings now the space is there, so if anyone has any recommendations for artists that fancy a go, drop them in the comments as well.

HOT DOGS + PIZZA? 🌭 🍕

Right then, we could be onto something here. Made as a little special last night for the footie. We’ve got a Jesse Smiths frankfurter moulded into our dough, then topped with all the necessary accompaniments.

It’s got the approval from Baz and crew. So good Theaks has even managed a 2nd sitting today! Let us know what you think and if this should be a feature. At least then it might stop the staff nabbing them all…
