Head behind the scenes with us to see something jolly tasty that’s been in the works… 🍫

We’ve teamed up with our friends at CHOCOCO | Dorset Chocolatier - artisan chocolatiers proudly based in Dorset (just a stones throw away from THE PIG-on the beach!) - to create our very own, limited edition chocolate PIG!

Crafted in small batches using award-winning 47% single origin cocoa from Colombia, these tasty little treats bring together their expertise and our love of seriously good flavour. Rich, indulgent, and wonderfully moreish - it’s safe to say they were snuffled very quickly in our piggy taste test!

Keep your eyes peeled for our carefully created choccies behind PIG receptions and on our online PIG shop soon - a rather good little stocking stuffer for a sweet-tooth, don’t you think… 🎄

15 years, countless seeds sown and plenty of weird and wonderful garden grub... 🌱

From Sungold and Green Zebra tomatoes to heatless habaneros and fiery Dorset Nagas; Crown Prince squash to Chilean Guava, Japanese Wineberries and Passionfruit. We’ve even grown Cucamelons, multicoloured Sweetcorn, Oyster Leaf and Ginger Scented Rosemary along the way.

Just a handful of our favourite things we’ve grown, picked, plucked and eaten across our Kitchen Gardens over the last 15 years 🌿

When we opened the doors to the very first PIG in the New Forest in 2011, we knew we wanted every corner to feel like it belonged there. From mismatched antiques and well-loved furniture to rather a lot of fabric swatches… 15 years on, we’re still poring over fabric swatches, squeezing antiques into the back of cars and searching for just the right shade of green!

Our friends at House of Hackney have been part of that story along the way, with their wonderfully wild prints taking root across THE PIGs over the years. A fellow B Corp, both of us share a love of nature, pattern, prints and traditional, artisan local craft.

So, as we celebrate 15 years of THE PIG, we’re taking a little wander back through some of our favourite corners - and the House of Hackney pieces that have helped make them feel very much like home 🌿

And, of course, we couldn’t bring back the PIG originals without something sweet...🌿

Lex’s Mint Mousse with Dark Chocolate Sorbet has been with us since the very beginning, first appearing on our menu back in 2011!

We grow about 20 different mint varieties in our Kitchen Gardens, from banana mint to apple mint; and we found that chocolate peppermint works particularly well for this palate-cleansing pudding… especially with a dollop of dark choccy sorbet.

Andy & Kamil are here to tell us more about our Queen of Puds, with a surprise guest appearance from Lex herself on the phone…

Autumn has certainly been making itself at home… but summer’s still got a little fuel left in the tank!

Our Garden Ovens at THE PIG, THE PIG-on the beach, and THE PIG-at Bridge Place are open until the end of September, so why not swing on by and join us for one final hurrah of wood fired feasting, chilled tipples and making the most of these last little pockets of sunshine.🌞

The final stop on our journey down PIG lane… 🐖

For our last trip back in time, we’re heading to THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay, THE PIG-in the South Downs and THE PIG-in the Cotswolds – three very different patches, but our most recent ones!!

From our 15th century Cornish house with far-reaching sea views, to our hideaway spot with its very own vineyard, and our Grade II-listed country house with gardens designed by renowned British Gardener Rosemary Verey (and a pub just down the road!) swipe through for a little look at where these three PIGs began. It's rather lovely to see how each one has grown into its own character over the years! 🐖

Well, the new season has well and truly arrived at the PIGs! 🍁 Crisper mornings, trees slowly turning more golden by the day, muddy walks, the smell of woodsmoke in the air, and that first excuse to pull on another layer. Autumn has made itself right at home, and we're welcoming it with open arms!
