Morning All 😍

I might not have the most appropriate work gear, but over the past few weeks I’ve found out that with the right power tools in hand I can pretty much do everything that I’ve been seeking the help of professional workmen to do…….Which has often pi**ed me right off with their idea that they can blatantly make a hit on me !! 🙄🤯

There’s always a solution to every problem!!….Right?? 💯

Give me a power tool, spray gun, drill, jet spray etc etc, etc etc……..
AND
I actually have the ability to get the job done myself exactly how I want it done, without having to go through the annoyance of dealing with men that don’t have much idea about how to behave with respect!! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry everyone; I’m sure there are exceptions among you! ✌🏼

What I have experienced(other than blisters, cuts and grazes) is, with the right tools, resources and confidence I (women) can independently excel in home improvements just as effectively as our male counterparts……
Whilst still juggling a business, family and of course fun nights socialising!!! (Those I can never do without) 😉😂💃🏼😝

WOMEN, we can most certainly celebrate our strength and capability while also appreciating and expressing our soft femininity, with absolute proof that both can coexist beautifully!!

A sweet friend of mine this evening reminded me that women are freaking badasses….
We are such goddesses of power💥💥
there is literally nothing that we can’t do, when we need to and if we want to!!

And with the blessing of Mother Natures fine weather, it’s the perfect time to get out there and get s**t done. ☀️ 👌🏼

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY ALL

I said I’d be on here more, but haven’t managed that one yet!

Me here though, prepping up joy in the kitchen yesterday singing my heart out (ok I have to work on that too) for the most beautiful souls with

I have to be honest, today those feelings have felt quite distant!!

I’m always interested and isn’t it incredible how life shifts us from one moment to the next, where our emotions pass through us like fierce waves without our control whatsoever? (Even being someone that has accumulated many tools in order to deal with STUFF)

A multitude of things in my busy head along with the longing for my mother who left this earth over 2 decades ago was the reasons for my sadness and tears mostly!

But I’m reminding myself that it’s absolutely OK to feel deeply, to embrace it even?
That is how Margaret Rose will continue to live in me until I too make my exit>>>>

Trying to cherish all the lightness and acknowledging the dark shadows that have to coexist.

Family: “Where life begins, and love never ends”

A few snippets from a very special weekend indeed!!

Celebrating a big milestone in life, and having back one of my babies from the other side of the world(so briefly!!)

The happiest of Birthdays to you, my dearest friend

Huge love to all the people that came to celebrate with us, it really is all about coming together!!

As fiercely independent as I have come to be, and learn about myself, I have also realised that I’m at my happiest and most fulfilled when my three children are close by……perhaps a tad needy?!?!

2 big goodbyes in 4 months!!!

So many miles are soon to separate us both again, but I want you to know that my love and pride for you is endless.
Your curiosity and courage to explore the world inspires me every day sweetheart.

I know that you know, home will always be where your heart is……

And you will always have a place here filled with love and warmth.

Cherish every moment, embrace every challenge, and continue to make many memories that will last a lifetime.

🌍✨ After some time away from here, I’m back,,,,,Or at least I’m going to try harder!! 🤷🏼‍♀️🫣🥰
Life is hurtling by so fast that it’s hard to keep up with the pace in order to get the things accomplished that are a priority, let alone share aspects of my life here these days!! 🤯🤗

Having said that…….

I couldn’t let this go by!!!
I’m feeling so incredibly grateful for my recent travels to Namibia! 💯👌🏼❤️
This beautiful country left a humbling and uplifting impression on me thats penetrated deep within that it needed to be shared!!
In the local people I saw a simple lifestyle that feels so uncomplicated and yet profoundly enough, especially in contrast to my always busy, sometimes overwhelming West side.

From witnessing the breathtaking sights of truly free African wildlife to soaring over the desert at sunrise in my first ever hot air balloon ride, and climbing sky high dazzling sand dunes.
Every moment was filled with utter awe for me.
The highlight was the privilege of visiting a donation-run school, where I met the cutest little children brimming with happiness, with potential, yet in stark reality facing the toughest circumstances that quite honestly you and I would find unbearable!!
The always warm, welcoming and attentive people I encountered along the way truly made this trip for me one that I will keep in my memories for a long time coming, and in my heart forever

Sometimes people disappear from our lives for many reasons.
There are times when life gets busy, people move away, change jobs, have kids, and suddenly someone who meant a lot is no longer around. Whatever the reasons, sometimes we look around and realise that we just don’t have quite as much love as we used to or as we need.

We don’t always have control over people disappearing from our lives and sometimes there is no way to get them back. People we love die! As we all know.
But we can continue our bond with them, love and remember them, through spending time with others that were closest to them!!

If you’ve lost touch with people you miss who you care about, or if you’re feeling isolated and lonely.
Identify the meaningful people you’ve lost touch with……
Put a stop to those stories in your head that it has been too long or that they’re too busy……. Along with countless other reasons to keep putting it off.

JUST DO IT!
STOP PUTTING IT OFF!!

If you need to apologise, then do that, and remember that we all screw up!!
We all hurt other people sometimes, and we can’t control if someone forgives us but we can say sorry and hope for the best.

If there’s someone that you want to rekindle a relationship with………

I know the year is not quite at an end, but this occasion will most definitely be the highlight of 2024!!! 💯

This was a huge day for dad and I……
(And everyone else who knows and loves you)

Born into the world at 26 weeks gestation, weighing only 1.8oz!!!!……And being told by SCBU staff not to go buying baby goods didn’t fill us with much positive hope of ever walking out of the hospital with you….

But, here you are my darling 😍

Proving not only to yourself and those around you that…..

Even though the most intense stress and anxiety fuelled struggle, we have a choice!

YOU chose to stay, keeping to your commitments to the end 💥

And with the tools and resilience that you gained from your journey, have now proved that no matter what happens to you in life, no matter where you have come from, you still have the ability to live out your dreams 💥

You my sweet, inspire me every day to be the best version of myself 🙏🏼❤️

Be as proud of yourself as we are of you 😘
