BUSINESS FOR SALE

Blakeman’s is now closed but inside is all intact and ready to be reopened by someone who has time to commit to a coffee shop business.

We are selling all fixtures and fittings (including furniture, fridges, freezers and coffee machine - POA) and the cost of the lease is ONLY £430 per month! The term of the lease is 3 years!

Following on from our post about closing (we close our door tomorrow for the last time), we are looking to sell Blakeman’s as a going concern.

With the exception of a few personal items, everything in the shop is for sale as a whole package, including our top-of-the-range coffee machine and grinder.

If you’ve been a customer, you will know that, back in 2020, we took on the shop and renovated it from top to bottom which included a new engineered oak floor and we even have a bespoke coffee counter!

Any buyer walks in ready to go… a turnkey operation!

It is leasehold; lease is £430 per month and tenure is 3 years.

If you are interested in looking around and putting in an offer, please pm me. (No time wasters please; only message if you are genuinely interested in owning and running this as a coffee shop).

Dear Customers,

It is with deep sadness that we announce our closure! We have worked tirelessly to develop our cosy, customer focused coffee shop but, alas, with the ever rising cost of living and a plethora of other factors affecting small businesses, it is no longer viable for us to remain open! We just can’t give Blakeman’s the commitment it needs. Therefore, ot is time to hang up our aprons!

However, this is not the end for Blakeman’s. We have very recently purchased a mobile coffee van, which Neil is working on as we speak. As soon as he has it up and running, Neil will be at events throughout Shropshire and I will be joining him when I can!

With genuine, heartfelt thanks to all of our wonderful , loyal customers who I shall really miss and thank you to our wonderful staff without whom we could not have continued for as long as we have.

Need some respite from the sun?

Pop into our snug (wrongly named for a day like this, I know!) where it is relatively cool!

Why not enjoy a cream tea (vegan or non-vegan), a light lunch (freshly made sausage rolls, toasties or sandwiches - all served with salad and crisps or a Blakeman’s Salad Bowl); follow that up with a piece of one of our delicious homemade cakes - GF and vegan options available.

On another note… thank you SO much to the very generous residents of and visitors to Church Stretton who have absolutely filled our board with coffee/food donations! If you are struggling financially and are in need of a coffee or lunch, please feel free to pick up one of our post-it’s from our Pay It Forward board. 🙂

We have homemade sausage rolls & made-to-order toasties and sandwiches (made with fresh bread from Mr Bun’s - our local baker).

Pay it Forward!

Here at Blakeman’s, we understand how difficult times are right now, with the ever rising cost of living!

Therefore, we’d like to help out but need your help too! If you can afford it, please would you occasionally pay for an extra drink (coffee, tea or other) sandwich or cake? We’ll then pop a post-it on our Pay It Forward board!

If you are experiencing hard times, for whatever reason, (no judgement at Blakeman’s) pick a post-it off the board and you’ll get a free drink/cake/sandwich!

For every ten donations, we’ll donate two more items!

Thank you to Jayd, who started us off in this journey (last year) with the first £10 donation!
