Acorn Community Support provides social, emotional and practical support to those in need in the Teign Valley and Cheriton Bishop area. Services include coffee clubs, minibus trips to Sainsbury's/ASDA, Lunch trips, Outings, a Memory Lane Cafe, volunteers making social visits to clients. If you are a carer of a loved one, a neighbour, a family member, a friend and you do it out of the goodness of your heart then you are simply amazing and simply the best.
It is Carers week and the thought for this year is building Carer friendly communities. If you or someone you know is an unpaid carer and needs a little support or advice let us know at Acorn, we may be able to help.

For now, here are my words to you, because you are truly absolutely amazing in everything you do for your cared for person ❤

We know how much our Volunteers get out of helping their community. We appreciate everything they do as without them we could not exist. Big Up our Volunteers - they are the best!

I expect you would all like to know how much we raised from our Prize Raffle Draw last month? We were absolutely delighted to have raised £1662 and cannot thank those of you who bought tickets enough. It was an exciting day with telephone calls and BACS payments right up to the last minute. It felt very high profile and we rather enjoyed it.
