CUSTOMER NOTICE

We are closing our tearoom for a Winter Break this Friday.

We are open as usual today & Thursday this week.

Notices have been displayed in our tearoom for the last four weeks to make our customers aware.

Our tearoom will reopen on …..

WEDNESDAY the 28th of January at 9.00am.

Our Valentines Day themed Afternoon Tea’s are now available to either book a table to dine in which is served in our Picnic Baskets or to preorder as a takeout individual box for collection on Friday, Saturday or Sunday the 13th, 14th or 15th of February & our cut off point for you to pre order as a takeout for any day is 5pm on Thursday the 12th of February.

Final festive post of the season

Just to thank everybody that attended Carols around the Clock Tower this evening.

You all made it an event to savour and to cherish.

Such a wonderful event and incredibly well supported once again this Christmas Eve

Thankyou for everyone’s support and here’s to a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year to all our customers, villagers and friends.

As we’ve had a lot of enquiries at our tearoom to understand when we are open over the next couple of weeks we’ve included our Festive Opening Hours again on this post.

We are OPEN on MONDAY & TUESDAY next week from 10.00am until 4.30pm as well as on Christmas Eve on Wednesday from 10.00 am until 5.30pm ahead of “CAROLS AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE” at 5.30pm

All that the organising committee ask should you be attending this wonderful event on CHRISTMAS EVE is that you please park and leave your vehicles in a safe place away from the junction outside ourselves and the Red Lion as you possibly can and walk down to the Clock Tower to attend and help us alleviate any congestion around the junction at the bottom of Blackburn Road

We will again be holding a collection should you wish to donate with this years monies being split equally between the Clock Tower fund and Derian House

Here’s wishing all our customers and villagers a very Happy Christmas and peaceful and prosperous New Year

Please note that we are open on both sets of Monday & Tuesdays during Christmas & New Years Day weeks so that you’ve every opportunity to come an join us for a seasonal catch up with family & friends, enjoying wonderful homemade food and drinks at affordable prices.

We still have availability for our Festive Afternoon Teas right up to Tuesday the 30th of December.

Please contact us soonest if you’d like to experience our take on a “Festive Afternoon Tea”
(Savoury or sweet along with a vegetarian, gluten or dairy free option are all available )

And finally not forgetting the most incredible event that really puts everyone in the mood to welcome in the festive celebrations

Carols around the Christmas Tree at the Clock Tower in Lower Wheelton, opposite the Tearoom will commence at 5.30pm on Christmas Eve.

Last week, on a very busy Friday afternoon, we had an unscheduled visit to our tearoom from our local Environmental Health Officer as she carried out a full hygiene review of our premises but we are so pleased, but not surprised, that we passed with flying colours and were handed our

“ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Star rating” which is now displayed in our front window for all to see

A big thankyou to all the team for ensuring our high standards of hygiene are consistently maintained along with all relevant paperwork and EHO related practices

We’re at Brindle Distillery’s Christmas Markets again this weekend from Friday to Sunday.
