My friends little girls cake from last week . Eva Rose designed her cake herself through ChatGPT.
Pinterest used to be my worst nightmare . Now I’m dealing with AI images 🤣.
So I did my best to recreate . It wasn’t indentical. Obviously.
But she absolutely loved it 🥰.
It was choc chip cookie dough flavour inside . Delicious. 😋 . Once again big thankyou to The Cake Decorating Supply Shop . They made the number 10 , plaque and the bunting and also the capybaras using their 3D printer .
Yes these are all things I could make out of edible modelling paste .
But in all honestly . They wouldn’t have looked as good as what the cake decorating shop have made here .
Also by me ordering toppers from them . It not only saved me some time . It helps and supports their business too.
When I go to collect any toppers they’ve made . I also buy other bits. I was in their shop 3 times that week . Honestly I could spend a fortune in there! . It’s such an amazing little shop . I love it !!
Years ago I tried to make everything edible on a cake . But now I realise it’s not so
Important. It’s about what looks better .
As long as the cake tastes amazing . ( which I can guarantee it will with my cakes 😊) And the design looks amazing . They are the two the most important things .
I will of course make everything edible on your cake if that’s what you would prefer ( however not princesses though ) that’s were I draw the line . Pretty princess faces I just can’t do . Maybe I’ll share a story about that in another post 😬😆

Let’s all support and save this wonderful business from closing . Always shop local when you can .
Small business’s like this need all of our support .
I know only too well how hard it is having a shop . Overheads /wages / etc . It’s very tough .
I’ve been been lucky enough to still continue my business without my shop. But not all businesses are able to run without a premises . And obviously they need more customers through the door for that .
I will definitely popping in to get some bits I need over the next week . Please show them support by either calling in or sharing their post ❤️

We need your help, Leyland & Surrounding Areas

For over 20 years Duxbury Park DIY has been on Leyland Lane. Your local shop for paint, screws, fillers, tools and friendly advice.

But fewer people are coming through the door, and like a lot of small shops we're struggling. If things don't pick up, we may not be able to stay open.

We don't want to lose this shop, and we don't think you do either.

So this October we're asking one thing: try us before you drive to the big DIY stores. Many of our everyday essentials are cheaper than B&Q, and we'll prove it with real price checks all month.

Three ways to help today:
✅ Pop in for your next DIY bits
✅ Like & Share this post
✅ Tell a neighbour we're here & Follow our page

Here’s last Saturdays gorgeous wedding cake . The top and bottom tier were toffee caramel and the middle tier was a fake tier . The lovely couple didn’t need a big 3 tier .
However because I I ordered a deep cake dummy for the middle tier . I made the top and bottom tier very deep aswell .
The bride messaged me to thank me and said they’ve plenty left aswell 😊.
Which is always a good thing . Better than not having enough 😊.
Also my cake freezes very well if ever you do have lots of cake left .
Or you could just have it for breakfast lunch and tea for the next week . It’s perfectly acceptable I think 😉😆.
Smooth buttercream finish with edible pearls and green ribbon and bow.
I absolutely love the stand aswell .
Delivered and set up at the The Spread Eagle, Sawley . Lovely to see Add A Little Sparkle Lancashire who did the venue dressing . I do miss seeing lots of my supplier friends with me not doing wedding fayres these days . But it’s something I will starting to do again next year with Little White Books & The Great Northern Wedding Show. So watch this space 👀😊.
A huge congratulations to the newly weds ❤️🥰
