Some of our best customers have four legs. 🐾☕️🌲

If there’s one thing we know about Fika customers, it's that half of them are our furry friends.

They know the route.

They know where Fika is.

And most importantly… they know where the treats are 😂

Rivington is basically dog heaven. Muddy walks, woodland trails, reservoirs, sticks absolutely everywhere, and we love that Fika has become part of that adventure.

So, we thought it was about time we gave our four-legged customers their own little special Fika offering too.

We’re very excited to announce that we’ll soon be stocking Rivington Chews

A local business producing 100% natural, air-dried pet chews and treats, perfectly packaged in compostable bags to take along on your walks. 🌲🐾

While their humans enjoy their coffee and cake, our gorgeous four-legged customers can now enjoy their own Fika treat too with their Puppuccinos. ☕️🍰🐾

Because at Fika, your dogs are just as important as you human customers. 🤎

We should be collecting our first batch this coming week, and we can't wait!!

WE’RE HIRING AT FIKA RIVINGTON ☕️🌲

We’re looking for someone to join our coffee team with an immediate start.

Front of House – Weekend Staff

This role will primarily cover weekends, and availability to work public holidays is essential.

Fika isn’t your typical coffee shop. We’re tucked away in the beautiful Rivington countryside, surrounded by woodland, walking trails and some pretty incredible views. 🌲

Because of our location, you’ll need to be able to drive and, importantly, genuinely enjoy the idea of working somewhere a little more remote and outdoorsy.

We’re looking for someone who is naturally confident, friendly and wants to become part of the Fika vibe. Someone who enjoys being somewhere there’s always something going on, from events and collaborations to seasonal ideas and trying something new.

Our location might be peaceful and tucked away in the countryside, but Fika can be quite the opposite, especially at weekends!
We get extremely busy, so we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can think on their feet and actually enjoys the buzz of a busy shift.

You’ll need to be:

☕ Naturally friendly, confident and approachable
🤎 Genuinely interested in people and providing amazing customer service
🌲 Someone who loves being outdoors and is happy working in a rural environment
🚗 Able to drive (we have a work van we may need you to drive)
🙌 Comfortable using your own initiative and working independently when needed, as well as being part of a team
😊 Positive, reliable and happy to get stuck in

Coffee making experience is preferred but not essential.

We’re much more interested in finding someone with the right personality and attitude. We can teach you how to make a great coffee!

There’s also the opportunity for the role to grow with Fika, which could mean additional hours beyond weekends in the future, more responsibility as the business develops, and opportunities for further coffee training and training days.

We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a weekend job — someone who would genuinely enjoy being part of the team and everything we’re building at Fika. 🤎

Danny's brain is in overdrive, full of ideas for Fika now we are going to be entering one of our favourite seasons.

We visited Haworth the other week and got inspired by the feel of the place. Full of history and stories and such a great vibe.

We have to get creative with what we can do up at Fika, with us being extremely remote, and resources aren’t quite as easy to come by! But there are so many things we can do, it's hard to know what to start with,

So we thought, why don't we see what YOU would like to see at Fika in September? 🤎

The summer holidays will be finished, kids back at school, routines needed to be set back in, and the first sites of Autumn will be appearing with hopefully some more hot days before leaves start to fall.

Hi everyone 👋

I want to introduce myself,

I’m Hayley, Danny’s wife 🤍

Whether you’ve been with us from the very beginning or have only just discovered us, I thought now was a good time to touch base, reintroduce ourselves and share a little bit about what’s happening at Fika.

For those of you who might not know the full Fika story, Fika opened in the October of 2022 and has always been a family-run business, with Danny, his brother Will and sister in law Rosie, each playing their part in building, growing and making it what it is today.

As Fika grows, so does the family story behind it.

Will & Rosie are now putting more of their time and energy into getting their new sit in cafe ready for opening which is based on Belmont Road, whilst also running their other coffee stop based at Walker Fold carpark (insta handles below).

Which means, I’m stepping in to help run Fika Rivington alongside Danny.

You’ll probably start seeing a little more of me around at Fika and on here as I'll be running the socials, event planning and possibly making a coffee from time to time 🤪.

Im excited to be a part of this next little chapter in Fika's story ☕️🤍.

I'm going to bringing lot's of my energy and experience into the mix and hopefully create something really special for you guys 💫

There's lots of ideas already brewing ☕️
