🏆 SHE ONLY WENT AND WON THE LOT! 🏆

We wished our bar manager Tracey good luck this morning…

Apparently, she took that as an instruction to win absolutely everything. 😂

💪 Over 40s Ladies Champion
🏆 Cumbrian Champion 2026
⭐ Pro Card earned

Sarah Connor didn’t just turn up - she terminated the competition!

An incredible achievement after months of hard work, discipline and dedication. Everyone at The White Horse is enormously proud of you, Tracey.

Now, can we please have our bar manager back? 🍺😂

🍕 Nino’s Pizza Kitchen update

Nino’s will be closed today due to ill health. We’re sorry for any disappointment and hope to reopen on Wednesday.

Thanks for understanding.

🎷 ONE PUB. TWO HEADLINE ATTRACTIONS. THREE SCREENS.

Saturday at The White Horse brings live music, international football and freshly made pizza together under one roof.

Amy Lovae returns from 7pm with her much-loved combination of sultry sax, powerful vocals and brilliant popular covers.

Then, from 7.45pm, England take on Spain with the match shown across three screens.

🍕 Nino’s Pizza Kitchen from 4pm until 9pm

Some households spend Saturday evening arguing over music or football. We have solved the problem and added pizza for diplomatic purposes.

💪 GOOD LUCK TO OUR VERY OWN SARAH CONNOR

Our Tracey is heading to Cumbria tomorrow to compete in a bodybuilding competition.

Anyone who has watched her carry three crates while keeping the bar under control will know that the other competitors, and possibly Skynet, should be worried.

Everyone at The White Horse wishes Tracey the very best tomorrow.

Go and smash it, Tracey. We’ll be back… with the drinks ready. 🐴

🎤 LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… MR BREATHLESS BRIAN

The last time Tommy Govan and Breathless Brian joined forces, Tommy gave him the introduction every great performer deserves:

“Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Breathless Brian.”

What followed was their unforgettable rendition of Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.

Part George Michael and Elton John, part Heath Charnock, entirely magnificent...erm forgettable.

This Sunday, karaoke returns to The White Horse with Ste Fitton from 5pm. The microphone is open to seasoned performers, enthusiastic amateurs and anyone whose talent improves significantly after their second pint.

A Tommy and Brian reunion cannot be guaranteed. Their world tour is still being negotiated and Wembley has stopped returning our calls.

Choose a song. Choose courage. Choose The White Horse.

Another song 🎶 from our fantastic Musicians Network on Wednesday evening. Now this song was made famous by the fantastic Amy Winehouse but does anyone know who originally released it?

🎺🎸 Last night’s Musicians Network was an absolute belter.

Blues, jazz, guitars and even a trumpet all came together for a brilliant jam in our conservatory. Nobody quite knew where the music was heading, but thankfully they all arrived at the same place!

A huge thank you to every musician who joined us and everyone who came along to listen. This is exactly what the Musicians Network is about: talented people meeting, improvising and creating something completely unique together.

Here’s a little glimpse of the magic…

Choose music. Choose connection. Choose The White Horse. 🐴🎶

🍹 THIRSTY THURSDAY AT THE WHITE HORSE

Thursday has been warned that it is no longer allowed to be boring.

Enjoy any two cocktails for £12, with Nino’s Pizza Kitchen serving freshly made pizza from 4pm until 9pm.

A balanced Thursday evening means a cocktail in each hand and a pizza in the middle. Nutritionists may have their own interpretation.

🍹 Any two cocktails for £12
🍕 Fresh pizza from 4pm until 9pm
🍽️ Eat in or take away
📍 The White Horse, 32 Chorley Road, Heath Charnock, PR6 9JS

For takeaway pizza, simply come into the pub and order at the bar. You might as well have a drink while it cooks. It would be rude to leave the cocktails unattended.

Choose cocktails. Choose pizza. Choose The White Horse.
