I've had a lot of questions about our display wall recently, so sharing the background with you all.
As my way to support local creatives and small businesses, I offer the 'gallery wall' for 2 months completely free of charge to local people who create and make gorgeous things.

100% of any sale goes straight to the artist/creator on display and the team and I proudly cheer you on from the coffee machine!

(I should also mention that it's fully booked for the rest of 2026 and 2027, so no more bookings for the time being - sorry!)

Have you ever wanted to join our Monday night run club but haven’t been able to make the timings work?

Well, after 3 years of requests, we are going to do a couple of our FREE RUN CLUB’s on a Sunday morning, monthly over summer!

Everyone welcome to do any distance. Planned 3km, 5km and 7km routes available.

So many new and exciting things happening at Basil & Blue!

We will shortly be filling our NEW shop shelves with lovely local goodies; refreshing the interior paint, adding NEW bolster cushions for our NEW benches and expanding the menu to give NEW healthier choices + even deli bits!

Can you connect us with some amazing local suppliers?

We want to offer daily bread, fresh eggs & local honey, plus cured meats, cheeses & some Chobham goodies.

What am I thinking?

I’m thinking about all the dreams I’ve had, intentions I’ve set, manifestations I’ve made and wishes I’ve projected for more beautiful SUNSHINE in the UK..
.only for this heatwave to break my equipment, our routines and our sanity.

So before the building, the team and the coffee machine become fully cooked, we’ll be closing at 2pm (rather than 4pm) Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Stay safe Chobham and I really hope you still come in for your morning coffee!

Our furry friends 🐶 prefer early walks too, I heard. X
