Green Olive is a relaxed and friendly restaurant serving delicious food incorporating all the best flavours of the Mediterranean. Remember those vacations in Italy, Spain and Greece? Wouldn’t you love to bring some of those wonderful fresh scents and tastes home with you? Well, luckily for you that’s exactly our intention. We may not be able to supply the endlessly sunny days or the sensation of g

ently lapping of waves on your toes, but our mission is to bring you the likes of freshly prepared pizza; tapas and souvlaki, washed down with some prosecco or sangria maybe, just to help take you back there. So your taste buds will get a tickling even if your toes don’t. So that’s the fantastic food created from fresh, healthy ingredients covered. Now we also want to bring a bit of that holiday atmosphere to your table. Which means not hogging one dish all to yourself while secretly wishing you’d ordered your mate’s plate. Instead we want to see you sharing ample portions of different dishes with all those in your gang. Because in our opinion sharing is caring, and if our food brings you closer to those that make you smile then we’re happy; and secretly we reckon it’s not just your stomach that will go away content either. We’re also very family friendly - so while the little ones are getting their tongues around our delicious home-made ice cream, you can relax knowing that they’re happily distracted from thoughts of causing chaos at home. The only thing you need to worry about is maybe bringing a bib to catch those drips that always get away. We also take pride in not charging extortionate prices for our food - because it’s not very authentic if you’re paying a fortune for that pizza or paella is it now? So we like to be fair and pass on some of the savings that we make out of being innovative, without any compromise on quality, onto you. And don’t even get us started on parties, because we’re telling you, we’d just love an excuse to dig out some Zorba the Greek and start smashing some plates with you; or if a bit of Sicilian music a la Godfather is more your thing we’ve got that covered too; or some flamenco anyone? Just let us dig out our castanets....

But if you’re just in the mood for some breakfast, brunch, coffee, lunch or a spot of supper we’ll be happy to have you pass our way too. We’re a 130 seater with indoor and outdoor space plus an ample sized bar, so we have room for everyone. And hopefully by now you’ll have gathered that we’re all about sharing and caring - which means we’d love to share the Green Olive with all of you.

After a settling in period for the revamped Green Olive we've listened to customer feedback and revised our menu. We now have a range of starters to choose from in addition to the sharing boards; some pasta dishes and more salad options. We've also brought moussaka back by popular demand! It's set to be a scorcher this weekend so why not get into the Mediterranean feel of things and dine al fresco at our lovely restaurant?

We're open all day from 9.30am to 10pm; so you can pop by for coffee, ice cream and cold drinks (Sangria, prosecco or an ice cold beer anyone...?). Not forgetting our wonderful Greek, Italian and Spanish cuisine, including our popular new sharing platters.

No bookings are necessary - just turn up. We have sombreros for the sun and heaters on stand by for later. And if you download our new app you can also enjoy 2for1 coffees and half price pizza on any orders before 7pm.

So, with guaranteed sun; great food and drinks; a fantastic ambiance in our revamped restaurant; and early dining offers - what excuse do you have for staying in?
