⛳ We Did It! ⛳
A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to every single person who came out and supported our second annual Foresters Golfing Day!
Thanks to your incredible support and generous spirits, we raised an amazing £865 for St. Clare Hospice! 💛
This year’s event was held in loving memory of Maureen Burns. Her family are brilliant friends and loyal supporters of the pub, and St. Clare’s is a charity incredibly close to all of our hearts for the compassionate care they provide to families when it’s needed most.
A massive round of applause to the legendary Barry Shurety and Ken Price for organising such a seamless, fantastic day from start to finish. You gents absolutely smashed it! 👏
We had 38 golfers hit the course, including some awesome first-timers who gave it their all—you all played brilliantly! Between the golf itself and our cracking fundraising evening back at the pub, the community energy was unbeatable.
Thank you to everyone who played, donated, had a drink with us, and chipped in to make the day such a memorable success. We couldn’t have done it without you! Here’s to next year! 🥂

🍺 Can we let you in on a little secret…?

We get so many compliments on our Guinness, with people telling us it’s one of the best around! 🤎

So, if you haven’t tried it yet, pop in, pull up a chair and give it a go.

And while you’re here, hopefully you’ll love The Foresters just as much. 🍻

Support us this Friday as 40 of our loyal patrons tee off our annual charity golf day to raise money in aid of St Clare’s hospice. After a day on the greens we will be celebrating at The Foresters from 5pm where we hope to raise more money for this great cause. Please come and join us!
