June 17 - England vs Croatia - 9pm ⚽️

June 23 - England v Ghana - 9pm ⚽️

June 27 - England v Panama - 10pm ⚽️

The Bank Holiday Weekend is loading…

Start it right and pop over to The Chequers on Saturday 2nd May for a party. You are all invited.

We will have live music 2.30pm to 8pm.

The brilliant London Brass All Stars - will be making us smile and tap our toes with covers of the Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder and the Jackson 5 played by their feel-good brass ensemble .

Barney Newman will be bringing his unique banjo 🪕 vibes to the late afternoon and early evening slot.

will be serving up cocktail specials from their pop-up horsebox and we will be offering a selection of canapés for tasting (first come, first served) between 2-4pm.

Our à la carte and bar snacks menu will be running as usual so book a table and settle in for a cracking Saturday!

Why not join us for ‘An introduction to modern calligraphy’ with Rachel from .

During the workshop, you will receive a calligraphy kit that is yours to keep after the workshop. The kit includes worksheets for your practice, extra worksheets to continue at home, pen holder, nib, ink, pencil, gift tags and blank greeting card. Rachel will first guide you through your new tools, including how to set them up and maintain them for future use. You will then dive into learning the fundamentals of calligraphy and put your new knowledge to paper. This includes creating lowercase letters, how to connect letters, finding your own calligraphy style and creating common greetings. Then you can take time to create your own gift tag or greeting cards…. all in the peace of our private dining room.

A glass of bubbly and canapés are also included in your ticket - £80pp. Book via link in bio.
