Let me introduce you to the Irish egg salad sandwich ( egg, scallion, tomato, cucumber, lettuce ( yes not fancy mix leaf!) and mayo, on white bread , always soft white bread)
I only saw these in Ireland at a wedding , funeral, family gathering , never saw them in shops ready to go. They are an institution, there was never enough of them put out.
Last time I had one was my godmothers funeral night and honestly , when they were put on the table with other sandwich’s it was “ get in fast “ approach . Then served with tea of course , had to be tea.

It was great to organise this birthday party, next time more gebra in the pool! Had a great team there to deliver this with wonderful flowers , thank you Jane for the last minute changes, which worked so well. Wonderful marquee www.dandjmarquees.co.uk .
The wonderful Swedish inspired pudding by , tasted amazing . Thank you to my team of chefs, editors and the best FOH manager , Aimez.

Doing watermelon and raspberry sauce granitas, cucumber and mint granitas to finish a bbq this Sat , only need 105 portions , but thank you for your machine ,

Going out to friends tonight for dinner, said I will do “ pud” but ended up doing “cake “, this is a bit cake/ pud / experiment!
Chocolate fudge cake, soaked with cherry brandy syrup( prob more brandy than syrup! )That’s when it gets more “ pud “ . Then with white miso, peanut, fudge icing , layers of cherry jam there to support my “ pud “ side. Then some Crème Fraiche to serve with it.

Wow! Wow what a day, strange that I forgot the high you get from running a marathon, ok my time was not as good as Paris but I was happy, thank you to the people supporting, especially the people , honestly you had a buffet on the side of the road! Thank you for having the snacks ready and words of encouragement. on the day so organised .
BUT more IMPORTANTLY you who sponsored me for so so good of you and so dear to me , still time to sponser me (see my previous link) .
