An incredibly hard post to share ❤️
It is with great sadness that I have to announce the closure of the cafe. This isn’t a decision that has been easy to make and I understand that it will be disappointing for many of you.
Opening a cafe has been a dream of mine for a very long time. I spent years searching for the “right” premises and the moment I walked into the cafe I knew it was what I had been waiting for.
Shortly after opening the cafe circumstances surrounding my personal life changed in a way I never expected. I have given everything I could to the cafe whilst navigating a complete change to my life behind the scenes along with an ever changing world.
It is of no secret that the hospitality industry is currently experiencing its most challenging time ,certainly in my lifetime and quite possibly ever.
As a result of these events and In order to move forward with my life, I now have to prioritise other aspects of my professional work. I want to be able to continue my career within an industry that I ultimately love and regretfully that means letting the cafe go.
The cafe has taught me so much and I’ll be forever grateful to the customers that have supported me since day one, I shall miss you terribly. I hope there will be some understanding as to why I’ve felt the need to quietly close the doors.
I would like to thank my wonderful staff for helping me, and my landlady Sue for being so supportive. Above all I need to Thank my incredible family in particular my Mum who has worked tirelessly for me, with me and kept me propped up behind the scenes.
