What a fantastic 'Family & Friends Day' we had at The Apuldram Centre recently! The day began with a really positive and engaging Family & Friends focus group, giving families the opportunity to share their views, ideas and hopes for the future.

Approximately 150 family members, staff and people we support then came together to enjoy some fantastic food and drink, kindly provided by Giles and his team of volunteers from the Rapid Relief Team and it was absolutely delicious!

We were also treated to brilliant entertainment from the Selsey Shanty Men, alongside a whole host of games and activities, including a scavenger hunt and Ceilidh dancing. And, of course, there was the small matter of Mike and Rory being put in the stocks, giving families, people we support and colleagues the opportunity to give them a very thorough soaking!

It was a wonderful day full of laughter, fun and community, and a brilliant reminder of what makes The Apuldram Centre such a special place. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success!

We were extremely excited to have a visit from MP for Chichester Jess Brown-Fuller this week!

Jess came and took part in our “Assembly” style question and answer session in which she answered questions from Apuldram Centre supported people, with hard-hitting questions such as "which political figures from the past do you admire" and "what is your favourite takeaway?".

Jess then went on to take a tour of the site and was presented with some of our fresh, home-grown produce in a hamper.

It was an amazing visit and all of us appreciated Jess taking the time to come and visit the centre and give time to take our questions.

Thanks Jess ... we hope to see you again soon at The Apuldram Centre.
