Good food starts with good ingredients. 🍳

Every egg served at Fernleigh comes from Rookery Farm, just down the road from us in Felpham.

Their organic hens are free to roam and forage in the fields throughout the day, with mobile hen houses moved onto fresh pasture for each new flock.

From the poached egg on your brunch to the ingredients coming out of our kitchen, we’re proud to know where our food comes from and to support brilliant local producers wherever we can,
reducing our footprint.

Our corn and jalapeño fritter comes with smashed avocado, Nutbourne tomato salsa, spicy crema, a perfectly poached egg, fresh herbs and feta.

Good ingredients don’t need much explaining.

Our tomatoes come from Nutbourne Tomatoes, grown here in Sussex, insecticide-free and, most importantly, grown for flavour.

You’ll find them taking centre stage on our new menu across a number of our dishes.

And if you’d like to take some home? You can.

Little Cowdray, right here inside Fernleigh, also stocks Nutbourne Tomatoes – so you can pick up some of the same tomatoes we use in our kitchen.
