Hi to all our followers,
It is with great sadness that we announce that Selsey Willows Seafood has now closed, as Richard has decided to retire.
Richard began fishing with his father, Michael, at the age of 15. He continued until he was 53, when his son Dan took over as skipper of the boat and continues to land shellfish into Selsey today.
Richard bought Selsey Willows Seafood from brothers Sean and Ronnie. Over the past 10 years, he has met many loyal customers through the farmers’ markets, and he would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported the business over the years.
He had hoped to sell the business and keep the Selsey Willows Seafood name and trade going, but unfortunately, with the current state of the world and the ongoing uncertainties, this has not been possible.
Once again, thank you all for your support, loyalty, and friendship over the years. It has truly meant a great deal to Richard and the family. 🦞🦀
