🍕 HELP WANTED — MURASE’S PIZZA 🔥

We’re looking for a new trainee pizzaiolo to join us.

You’ll start on the wood-fired oven, learning how to manage the fire, turn pizzas, judge the bake and eventually work your way through the whole pizza station.

This could be a brilliant first job for a Year 10 or 11 student who loves food, isn’t afraid of a busy service and wants to learn a proper skill.

🔥 Mainly evening/weekend work
🍕 Full training provided
🙌 No experience necessary
📍 Year-round position — we’re looking for someone local who can stick with us, rather than a summer/uni-holiday job

There’s something brewing at the whEATsheaf… and apparently it’s expecting. 😂☕🎃

We’ve been experimenting with the same pumpkin purée we use on our pizzas to make a proper Pumpkin Spice Latte — real pumpkin, warming spices, coffee and steamed milk.

And, completely by accident, the latte art came out looking like a baby scan. 👶😂

The important bit though… it’s actually really nice.

Might have to give this one a proper run through autumn. 🎃🍂☕

🎃👻 HALLOWEEN QUIZ — IN MEMORY OF ROLEY BROWN 👻🎃

It came up in conversation in the pub the other night that it’s somehow been 10 years this Halloween since Roley Brown left us. 😢

So we thought… what better excuse for a night in the pub than a Halloween quiz in Roley’s memory! 🎃🍻

📅 Saturday 31st October
⏰ 8:30pm

We’ll be putting together a suitably spooky quiz, getting a few drinks down us and hopefully having a good laugh along the way — just as Roley would have wanted.

And, of course, we’ll be raising money for Guide Dogs in Roley’s memory. ❤️🐾

So get your teams together, dust off those useless bits of knowledge and come and join us for a good night!
