So... trying our new baking trays and not considering how deep the brownies will be CAN result in your brownies being a tad fudgier than normal...

It would appear that I prefer a brownie that edges more towards a cake like texture (some would say slightly overbaked)..

This recent batch is a tad fudgier than my preferred texture, still delicious, but definitely messier to cut/eat lol

As they deviate slightly from the norm I thought it only fitting to inform you accordingly (as well as allowing me to test out some new colour combos on our images)

I'd already decided that this weeks special would be "Dirty Bird", a delicious version of buffalo chicken loaded fries, when I remembered it was Fathers Day soon so we should do something for that!

So we have two specials this week!
(who want's to be popular with the guys in the kitchen anyway ;) )

DAD BOD
Double Smash Burger, double cheese, chopped smoked brisket, beer braised onions, beer battered onion rings, bbq sauce & burger sauce...
All in a toasted sesame seed coated brioche bun!

DIRTY BIRD
Skin on fries seasoned with "Flamin' Hot Monster Dust" topped with grated cheddar, chopped chargrilled Buffalo Chicken, creamy ranch sauce, sliced spring onion, sliced red onion.

It's a tough choice but I reckon I'd have to try the Buffalo Chicken fries first!

It's summer, which means we're busy out and about in the trailer..

This Saturday we're out at Chesterfield Pride which is a fantastic self funded event open to everyone, hope to see you there!
Then on Sunday we're over at The Rutland Arms in Holmsfield, serving 4pm till 7pm!

We also have the shop open Wed to Sunday (4-9pm)

So Mrs Fat Pig has her work cut out organising everything....
I'm lucky, I just have to smoke meat and tow the trailer ;)

Well, not really... shes a tad too spicy for Mrs Fat Pig but I thought she was delicious!
