Coffee is good for your brain

Coffee lovers rejoice! A recent study has found that drinking multiple cups of coffee per day may help your brain age more slowly. Researchers discovered that individuals who drank 2–3 cups daily had brain scans showing 6.7 years less age-related decline compared to non-coffee drinkers.

The benefits are linked to caffeine’s neuroprotective effects and its ability to reduce brain inflammation. Higher coffee consumption was also associated with better memory, faster thinking, and stronger attention span—particularly in older adults.

However, moderation is key. Overconsumption can lead to negative effects like anxiety and sleep disruption. But in the right amounts, your daily brew may just be brain fuel.
