The time has come… the doors closed at 1am for the final time under my management 😥

A huge thankyou to all that visited last night and have visited throughout the time I have been here! We have shared too many memories to remember and I hope you treasure them as I will! 🍻

The kind words I have recieved over the past few weeks, the little nods of care and cuddles of embrace are what has made the hardest time just a little bit easier, knowing I’ve done you all proud 🥹

And with that, it’s not goodbye from me, but see you all very soon, just this time I’ll be joining you on the other side of the bar 🍻

Thankyou from the bottom of my heart! I truely love you all, I’m sorry I couldn’t continue 😔

Due to low levels of draught stock we would like to invite all our customers to be mindful to visit and have one last drink with us tonight 🍻

We have lots of spirit stock available & happy to accept offers if you’d like to buy this by the bottle rather than per drink 🥤

We will keep our Facebook updated on whether we will now be opening tomorrow due to stock levels and this will be updated tomorrow morning so please keep a close eye for all updates!

It is with a very heavy heart I post this message that due to issues beyond our means I will be leaving The Bridge Inn. I’m on the understanding rumours are going around & this is why I am addressing this publicly today. I will not disclose the means behind which I am leaving and would ask for my customers respect these wishes and to not assume rumours are all true. I would like to sincerely thank each person that has visited the pub since the doors opened on 2nd December 2022, the ‘bridge family’ and the memories created in these walls are what makes this post so difficult to write and post, as this now marks the beginning of the end.

The journey I have taken, the lessons I’ve learnt, the laughs, the tears, the crazy moments will be what I’ll treasure for a lifetime! You have all watched my beautiful children grow, you all have been the reason I’ve kept going as humanly long as possible and fought every barrier the business has faced, I will never forget your time, generosity and kindness throughout the past 3+ years!

For now, the doors are still open, I ask for my last few weeks as landlady to be spent with the most amazing family we have created here at The Bridge Inn and to join me in making the last few memories to treasure forever! I’m just sorry I couldn’t do more 😥
