The summer holidays are upon us again, a time for excitement and spending time with your kids. Unfortunately for some itā€™s also a time for worry, especially with rising costs.

Worrying about your child going hungry is sadly more common than weā€™d like to think, so Leo and I want to bring back our free kids lunches during the summer holidays.

Itā€™s not much, but weā€™ll try to give back where we can. Thereā€™s absolutely no pressure from us to buy anything, please just feel free to pop in.

Weā€™ll also be putting some of our own Pokemon cards in with each kids lunch as a lil bonus.

Letā€™s help each other.

šŸ„Ŗ FRESH FLAVOURS, LOCAL PASSION šŸ„Ŗ

If youā€™ve yet to meet the team at Canteen head straight to Chesterā€™s newest indie sandwich spot and tuck in some amazing combos.

Brought to you by Ben & Leo, two Chester locals with a serious love for quality fillings and freshly baked goods!

What started as a tradition of crafting high-quality sandwiches for each other has now grown into something delicious for everyone.

Canteen is perfectly placed a minute walk from Chester Cathedral so grab yourself a freshly made lunch and enjoy it in the beautiful Cathedral Gardens.

So, itā€™s about time we made a Facebook Account for Canteen.

If you donā€™t know us, weā€™re Ben & Leo. We opened Canteen on St Werburgh Street in November 2024. Weā€™re about thick & filled sandwiches, good coffee and homemade pastries & cakes.

Weā€™ve been blown away by the support weā€™ve received since we opened, and have had the pleasure of meeting many of you (who have told us to make a page šŸ˜…).

So yeah, thatā€™s a bit about what we do. We hope to see you in our independent sandwich shop soon ā¤ļø
