My dad made me this counter, I still have it ❤️ couldn't bring myself to scrap it.

🤣 who remembers when we opened at 10am in this unit and the counter was never ready. I used to have you waiting whilst I finished piping the cupcakes 🙈

On this day it was actually ready, probably why I took the photo 🤣 evidence!

After nearly 9 years of having a shop and 14 years of making cakes, I’ve decided that it’s time for a change.

This little business was built from nothing, with just a few £s to my name and looking back, I honestly can’t believe how far it’s come.
I am so incredibly proud of what we have created.

But the truth is, none of it would have been possible without you guys.
Your support, your recommendations, your orders and trusting me to be your cake lady, which i will be forever thankful for.

I made this business so I could work around the kids when they were little, so that Cal and I could always be present.
It did exactly that… and so much more.
We’ve had some amazing opportunities over the years, made lots of memories and met some amazing people and, of course, been through a few s**t shows along the way 😂

But I have loved it. I really have.
Until now.
And I think that’s how I know it’s time to say goodbye.

There are so many emotions that come with closing this chapter, but mostly I just feel incredibly grateful. That I got to build something from nothing, it gave our family so much freedom and time spent together and that so many of you chose to support me along the way.

So, thank you.
For every cake order.
Every recommendation.
Every visit.
And for allowing me to be part of so many of your special moments.

I’m not quite ready to disappear just yet though… ❤️
I am still completing all orders that are booked in and working till christmas.
I'll also be opening the shop for 2 final days so I can see as many of you as possible, say goodbye properly and give you the chance to grab some goodies one last time.

I’ll announce the dates as soon as I’ve got everything sorted.
