We recognise that the achievement of high standards is a necessary part of our members’ long term success and profitability and through the inspection programme we help them attain that. Sharing information and experiences at all levels helps to achieve excellence in customer service, plant quality and reliability. Winter Conferences and study tours for garden centre proprietors, managers and staff are an important part of the work of the GCA to enhance good communication skills and advise members of the latest retail initiatives to encourage customers to visit garden centres.

We’re excited to announce that the award-winning BLUE LION BAND will be providing the entertainment at our 2027 GCA Annual Conference Gala Dinner!

This high-energy seven-piece band are renowned for filling dance floors with an incredible mix of music across all genres.

Following our Destination Garden Centre of the Year, Garden Centre of the Year and Local Garden Centre of the Year award presentations and the announcements of our Garden Centres of Excellence, the band will provide an evening packed with energy, great music and plenty of opportunities to celebrate with colleagues and friends.
