It’s that time of year again when we move our opening hours down to four days a week, we are now open Thursday through Sunday 11.30am-5.30pm.

It’s looking like a glorious weekend and what better way to enjoy the sunshine than a scoop or two of award winning Gelato.
This weekends special is Probably not a flavour you would find in a sleepy Italian town or city.
Black jack is a combination of a blackcurrant flavoured base layered with a thick liquorice ripple, love it or hate it, it’s in the cabinet along with 15 other amazing flavours.

Summer update!
Well what a Summer, you could almost liken it to the climate in Italy, Hot days warm nights and obviously Gelato weather. 🍦🍦🍨🍨

I would like to thank you all for the amazing Summer we have had at Luca’s Gelato, your patience when we have run low on flavours your patience when there’s a queue and most of all your patience when we have been tired stressed and quite often totally exhausted.

Your continued support through the summer months will allow us to give free Ice creams to hundreds of children from our local community, many of whom have learning difficulties and disabilities, we have just formed a new relationship with The Soul kitchen in Chester A 100% voluntary charity providing food and support to those experiencing homelessness and food poverty.
Their first 10 litres of gelato was delivered this week and I’m sure even tho the weather has turned that their guests will enjoy a treat this weekend.

We still have a few days left before the Children head back to School
So why not pay us a visit this Bank Holiday weekend where we will be open every day 11.30am-5.30pm closing a little earlier on Monday at 5pm.

Looking ahead to this winter we will be adding Autumn flavours and of course Christmas flavours late in November and we hope you all Support us through the cooler months ahead, we always feel winter is a great time to visit us, we try to mix up the flavours a little, and we have time to experiment with new recipes.
