☀️🍷 As the summer holidays start to “wine” down, why not keep a little taste of your travels going?

We’ve got some lovely wines that might just transport you straight back to sunny terraces, long lunches and warm evenings abroad…

🇪🇸 Señoríal White Rioja – beautifully fresh, crisp and full of Spanish sunshine.

🇪🇸 Vina Salort Albariño – crisp, refreshing and wonderfully coastal.

🇮🇹 Alice Verdeca – bright, refreshing and very easy to love. A little taste of Italy without the airfare.

🇬🇷 Samartzis Single origin – wonderfully dry and plenty of minerals, bringing a gorgeous taste of Greece back home.

Just a few bottles that might bring back memories of holiday times and the occasional “we’ll just have one more…” 🍷

After what feels like the hottest summer on record, it looks like the weather has finally decided to do the dogs a favour! 😅

Cooler temperatures, a bit of cloud cover… honestly, it’s almost like Mother Nature is a dog lover too. 🐶💚

We’re all set with plenty of treats waiting at the finish, lots of wagging tails, and a brilliant morning ahead.

📍 Join us at 9:00am for our Charity Dog Walk. Whether your four-legged friend is a speedy spaniel, a laid-back Labrador or simply in it for the biscuits, we’d love to see you!

The kettle will be on and the spirits will be high—just how our late pub dog Ollie (pictured 🐾) would’ve wanted it. No tickets needed—just bring a small donation for North Clwyd Animal Rescue and your finest morning enthusiasm.

No booking, no fuss—just turn up!

Dog? No dog? Doesn’t matter. All are welcome.

We’ll meet at the pub at 9am for coffee, head off at 9:30 for a leisurely loop of the city walls, then wander down to the meadows where the dogs can go let off some steam.

We’re chuffed to bits to have won Best Dressed Raft at this year’s Raft Race!

The biggest win of the day, though? Together we helped raise an amazing £3,000 for local charities. What an incredible effort from everyone involved!

A veteran of four Space Shuttle missions, Commander of the International Space Station, and one of the world’s most experienced spacewalkers!

A huge thank you to Michael for taking the time to support such a brilliant community event. We can’t wait to share his message with you all!
