💚 A LITTLE NOTE FROM US💚
We've noticed a few comments recently about us using AI for some of the fun images you see on our page, so we thought we'd address it once. 🌿
The Little Olive Tree is a small independent café, run by real people who work incredibly hard every day — cooking your food, making your coffees, serving our customers, planning events, supporting local causes and trying to come up with new ideas to make our little café somewhere special.
Yes, sometimes we use AI to help us bring some of those ideas to life. 💚
Our latest dog competition is a perfect example. We wanted to turn some of your gorgeous dogs into funny café characters for our wall — chefs, baristas and waitresses! 🐾
Having every image professionally designed or photographed simply wouldn't be realistic for a small business like ours. Using the tools available to us means we can still do something fun, creative and completely FREE for our customers without taking money away from the things that really matter in the café.
AI isn't replacing a job at The Little Olive Tree. We aren’t graphic designers, and there isn't one being replaced now. It's simply another tool that allows a small business to do something we otherwise couldn't do.**
Behind every post is still us.
Behind every event is us.
Behind every idea is us.
And behind the counter you'll definitely still find us! 😂💚
We completely understand that AI isn't everyone's cup of tea — and that's okay. ☕️
But if it helps a little independent café create something that makes people smile, gives someone's much-loved dog a place on our wall, or helps us compete with businesses with much bigger marketing budgets, we're happy to use it responsibly.
And judging by the 600+ gorgeous dogs you sent us, we think this particular little idea brought quite a lot of smiles. 🐶❤️
