There’s a lot behind the food at Lomri. The regions it comes from, the spices, the techniques and the traditions that shape it.

We want our team to know those details too. So when something catches your eye, or you’re torn between two dishes, there’s someone at the table who can tell you a little more and help you choose.

After all, discovering something new is half the fun.

Some recipes are remembered for where they came from. This one is remembered for the chef who created it.

Chicken Beliram brings together yoghurt, garlic, fresh herbs and aromatic spices, cooked in a sealed pot until the flavours come together.

A dish with royal roots, a chef’s name and one rather intriguing finishing touch.

When Head Chef Achal Aggarwal creates a seasonal menu, he doesn’t begin by asking what’s missing.

He begins by asking which regions, traditions and recipes he wants to bring to Lomri next.

That’s the thinking behind every new dish you’ll discover this season, celebrating the remarkable diversity of India’s regional cuisine.

We hope you enjoy exploring them.

Every menu is a collection of decisions.

What stays. What evolves. What feels right for the season.

For Head Chef Achal Aggarwal, every new dish is inspired by a region, a tradition or a recipe with a story worth sharing.

That’s the thinking behind this season’s menu, and we hope you’ll enjoy discovering it as much as we’ve enjoyed bringing it to Lomri.

Inspired by Coorg in Southern India, a region known for its spice-growing traditions, this slow-cooked pork curry brings together bold flavours with the warmth of black cardamom and cinnamon.

As we make way for Lomri’s summer menu, it will be available until 6 July.

White Lamb Stew.

Slow-cooked Hebridean lamb with cardamom, yoghurt and cashew, finished with saffron oil and marigold petals.

A rare royal dish with origins in the hunting expeditions of Indian kings, where richness came from slow cooking, nuts and yoghurt instead of chilli and tomato.

Delicate. Layered. Deeply comforting.

One of Chef Achal’s most distinctive dishes at Lomri.
