Bartlett’s Butchers Extra Mature Cheddar paired with a rich, full-bodied Malbec.

The deep blackberry and plum flavours of the Malbec, along with its smooth tannins and touch of spice, are a brilliant match for the strong, sharp and savoury character of an extra mature cheddar.

A big cheese deserves a big wine — and this pairing certainly delivers.

We’ll be bringing together five wines and five carefully matched cheeses, with each pairing chosen to bring out the best in both.

Cheltenham Cocktail Week is coming to The Old Courthouse 🍸

From 18th–27th September, we’ll be joining venues across town for ten days dedicated to all things cocktails.

Our Cocktail Week serve? A proper Espresso Martini for £7 — Absolut Vanilla Vodka, Kahlúa, freshly brewed double espresso and French vanilla syrup.
And if you’re keeping things alcohol-free, we’ll also have our Virgin Aperol Spritz for £7.
