Barista - Weekend | Cobo Coffee, Hatherley Park

We are currently looking for someone to join our small but mighty team of passionate baristas. Situated in the beautiful Hatherley Park, we are blessed with the perfect setting to hone coffee making skills, chat to customers and meet some of our lovely four legged friends. As an independent, family-owned horsebox cafe, we rely on serving excellent coffee with excellent customer service.

This position is weekend only with the opportunity to cover for sickness and summer holiday cover. We are excited to find the right person for our team; please get in touch using the email below if you would appreciate an informal chat about the role.

The job will require you to:
☀️ Have high quality barista skills (full training can be provided, however previous experience is desirable)
☀️ Have excellent communication and customer service skills
☀️ Handle cash, to include daily cashing up
☀️ Open and close the horsebox independently
☀️ Work well in a small team and occasionally work alone
☀️ Do small amounts of heavy lifting
☀️ Be willing to cover sickness and holidays
☀️ Be available for training on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2026

Hourly Pay: £13 per hour

Due to the nature of this role involving lone working, applicants must be aged 18 or over.

KNIT AND NATTER 🧶

We have an exciting new group starting next Monday (20th April) from 9:30-11:30. Come and join the fun, bring along your knitting or crochet project and enjoy coffee and a natter in the fresh air!

Alternate Mondays and Wednesdays following the 20th. We can't wait to see you...all abilities welcome!

🐣 DAILY Easter Egg Hunt! Find one of 5 eggs hidden around the park and bring it to our horsebox for a prize! There's plenty of prizes per egg, so we just ask you stick to one egg per family/group. Weekdays in Easter holidays.

🐣 NEW Spring Activity Pack! Take park in a Hatherley Park themed scavenger hunt, create your very own flower garden, and practice your detective skills with our Cobo Wordsearch! £3 per pack, including stickers, crayons and a book full of fun! (Available from Monday 30th)

🐣 ANNUAL Hatherley Park Easter Egg Hunt from the wonderful Friends of Hatherley Park. Come and join in the fun from 2 until 4pm on Saturday 4th April!
