We’re proud to share that Ritual Roasters is now a Certified B Corporation. 🌱

When we started Ritual in 2019, we didn’t set out to become a B Corp.

We set out to help independent cafés thrive by building a business that puts people first.

We believed there was room for a different kind of coffee roaster. One that didn’t just supply exceptional coffee, but understood everything that goes into serving it.

The 6am opens.
The Saturday morning rush.
The people behind the machine.
The systems that keep hospitality moving.

Because great coffee is only part of the story.

Over the last seven years, we’ve gone from roasting in a glorified bus garage and serving coffee from a horsebox to building a team, a roastery and a community we’re incredibly proud of.

Becoming a Certified B Corporation isn’t the finish line. It’s recognition of something we’ve believed from the beginning: that businesses can succeed while looking after the people and places that make them possible.

It’s a commitment to keep building Ritual the right way; for our producers, our team, our wholesale partners, our community and the planet.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far,especially our awesome team that makes Ritual what it is.

Orange or green?

Packing up today’s orders in our new bags got us thinking… you’re probably wondering what the difference is between orange and green.

They do look good next to each other, but the colour-coding should help make choosing your next coffee a little easier.

🧡 Orange is Routine. The coffees we come back to time and time again. Built on long-term relationships with the producers we work alongside, roasted for consistency and made to be your everyday espresso. You’ll often see these coffees out in the wild at partner cafes.

💚 Green is Refine. The coffees that keep things interesting. Seasonal single origins that give us the chance to showcase incredible producers and share something new, whether that’s a different origin, process or flavour profile.

Different collections. Different sourcing philosophies. The same commitment to excellence in every cup 🌞

We’re teaming up with our friends at once again for a guided tasting led by our Head Roaster, Joel.

We’ll be sharing a selection of our latest coffee releases, including a unique side-by-side tasting of the same Ethiopian coffee processed two different ways.

A relaxed evening of great coffee, good conversation and plenty to taste.

For us, it’s never just been about what’s in the cup.

It’s about the people behind every cup. The producers at origin, the cafés and baristas serving it, the chefs, bakers and creatives shaping hospitality, and the customers who turn those spaces into communities.

Coffee has a remarkable way of bringing people together, and that’s something we’ll never stop celebrating.

This new chapter is simply our way of reflecting that.

When we started Ritual nearly seven years ago, we had no idea what it would grow into.

We were just trying to roast good coffee, build something we were proud of, and help independent businesses serve exceptional coffee.

As the business has grown, so have we. But at the heart of all of this is something very simple.

We believe decent coffee brings people together.

Everything else – the new look, the packaging, the illustrations – has grown from that idea.

Something looks a little different…

Over the past few months we’ve been quietly working on something that’s been a long time coming.

Not because we wanted to change who we are, but because we wanted the outside of Ritual to finally reflect where we are today.

The coffee hasn’t changed.

The people haven’t changed.

What matters to us certainly hasn’t changed.

But this feels much more like us. Thank you for being part of the journey so far and welcome to the next chapter 🌞
