The next chapter is very nearly ready… 🍸🌿
The garden is finished, there’s just a little more paint and a few final touches to go, and then our new cocktail lounge & wine bar will be ready.
Behind the scenes, we’re now putting the finishing touches to the wine and cocktail menus, and…… after so many of you asked, we’ve decided to bring back a small selection of food too.
We’re not turning Storyteller back into a restaurant. The focus is very much on great cocktails, good wine and relaxed evenings, but we also know that sometimes you want something to share alongside a drink.
So the food menu will be deliberately small and social: think our famous ribs, burritos, charcuterie, cheeseboards, nachos, breads with dips and chicken wings. And yes, our head chef from the restaurant days will be back in the kitchen personally preparing them.
We’ll be announcing the opening date on Friday 4th September, and at the same time we’ll start contacting everyone who has asked to be added to the invite list.
The response so far has been phenomenal. Genuinely. We’ve been overwhelmed by how many people have messaged, commented and asked to come along, so thank you.
Because of that response, our soft opening will now run over a few weeks rather than just a few days, with entry initially by invite or advance booking only before we open fully for walk-ins.

And just as before, Storyteller’s private events venue continues exactly as normal — weddings, birthdays, celebrations and private hire aren’t going anywhere. The cocktail lounge and wine bar is simply something new alongside everything we already do.
