Solar film can be fitted to windows, or temporary shading fitted OUTSIDE (such as radiator heat reflector or even cardboard attached with window suckers) and can be a low-cost and surprisingly effective option.
โ ๏ธ A word of caution: avoid placing reflective foil or cardboard inside double-glazed windows, as trapped heat can damage or even crack the glass. And if your windows face neighbouring properties, be mindful that reflective materials can create unwanted glare.
