We are on holiday to see family. And the coffee cart is getting all new electrics while we’re away. In the last four years we’ve expanded our offerings, which places more strain on our electrics and solar panels. So we thought it was time to get that sorted! We can’t wait to see you on Wednesday 10 June. I miss you already! ♥️♥️

This photo may not mean much to you, but it means the world to me. When we started Hallowed Grounds four-years ago, we hope to be a safe place in the community for people to meet and make friends. This group started as individuals who met at Hallowed Grounds and slowly became friends who regularly meet at the coffee cart. Over time the group has begun meeting together when I’m away on holiday. They sent me this photo from Yo Sushi where they met up for lunch. I feel so blessed 😇

One of the things that’s become very apparent about owning an outdoor (although we have indoor seating!) cafe is that one must be prepared for all sorts of weather - and often various mixes all in one day. The entire first year in business I would worry when days were slow. When no one came. When it rained. But God slowly showed me that if I show up every day, provide consistency and grace, and coffee with heart people will come. More often than not, tables are full. Someone’s sharing something personal with me at the counter. Folks are sat indoors. And my heart is full.

Thank you Hallowed Grounds community for showing up to support us. It’s been 4 amazing, blessed years.
