One of our regular customers asked if we carry almond milk. She was just told by her GP to switch from Oat to Almond milk. We have had it on occasion, but the sell through rate isn’t as strong. But I promised we’d get it for her. Why? Because it’s the right thing to do. She’s not just another number. She’s a friend to our community & we’d lose the connection. You know what was even better? These 3 offered to go get the milk for her right away. And off you go the shop they went. This is “Coffee with Heart” in action. ♥️♥️

Continuing our series on Hallowed Grounds, we’re giving you a glimpse of the transformation the coffee cart has gone through over the years. From green and uninspiring to blue and warm wood panels. From a few tables to expanded seating. From cakes and sausage rolls to paninis, pastries & more thanks to a partnership with our friends .

We also offer indoor seating year-round and a heated gazebo for inclement weather. 🌦️

If we could describe what “Coffee with Heart” means, we’d have to say “Community”. Love seeing all these folks gathering together regularly for conversation, coffee and community. ♥️♥️

My heart was so full today. I walked into the church and found friends colouring, singing, chatting, and enjoying coffee together. It was a beautiful moment at Hallowed Grounds.

Continuing with our series of Who is Hallowed Grounds? We are focusing on “How did we get started?” This is the story of why we started. The church has been closed nearly two years due to the pandemic. Post pandemic, the church wanted to understand the differing needs of the community. What had changed since covid? And how could the church help? After months of meeting and prayer, it was agreed to pursue a coffee business. And my husband and I felt called to step in and start the coffee cart. Little did we know what God had in store for us. Stay tuned for more of the story….

At Hallowed Grounds, we do much more than serve up great tasting coffee from or fab food from . We exist to serve the Community. We want each person who visits us to feel seen, heard and understood. To recognise you’re not just a transaction to us. You’re a person. So do come in and try our delicious coffee and food, but stay for the warmth, the welcome, that community. As we share with you who we are, our mission, and everything that take place in serving “Coffee with Heart” I thought I’d share the most common questions I get.

Actually there is another question I get frequently and have done for over 4-years. That is - “We have reservations Petit Coco. Where are they?” I think I might start charging a fee for playing tour guide. 😉 (Honestly, they are amazing!)
