☀️ A Quick Note From All of Us At The Plough ☀️

What a spell of weather we’re having! Our beer garden is looking fantastic, the drinks are flowing, and it’s wonderful to see so many of you making the most of the sunshine with us.

While many of our guests are enjoying a cold drink in the garden, we’d like to ask for a little patience and understanding for our team over the coming days.

Our kitchen team are working in extremely challenging temperatures, surrounded by grills, fryers, ovens and hot lights, where the heat can become intense and, at times, almost unbearable.

At the same time, our front-of-house team are working tirelessly, constantly on their feet, serving tables, carrying food and drinks, and moving between the pub and garden throughout the day. While they may not be standing in front of the grills, they’re feeling the effects of the heat too and working incredibly hard to make sure everyone has a great experience.

We have no plans to close the kitchen, but allow our chefs the opportunity to cool down, rehydrate, grab an ice lolly, or simply take a well-earned breather before getting back to it. If this happens, we hope you’ll understand that we’re putting the wellbeing of our team first.

Please bear with us Every member of the team is doing their absolute best, and a little patience and kindness goes a very long way ❤️
